Terms of Use

The terms for using this website. Engagements are governed by separate written agreements.

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Who these terms are with

ISSLA RISK is operated by ISSLA Risk Global Service LLC, a limited liability company incorporated in the State of New Mexico, United States (“ISSLA RISK”, “we”, “us”). By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The website is general information

Content on this site is general information about our work. It is not legal, financial or investment advice, and it is not an offer of services in any particular jurisdiction. Services, methods and access vary by country and are defined in a written engagement.

No guarantee of results

Investigations depend on what records, sources and access exist and on what the law allows in each jurisdiction. We report the evidence found, its strength and what remains unverified. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of source availability, of any investigative result, or that a particular fact, owner, asset or connection will be identified. We do not use unlawful methods and do not offer access to restricted records, government systems or personal data that can only be obtained improperly.

Enquiries do not create an engagement

Sending an enquiry, a message or a form does not create an engagement, a duty of confidentiality beyond what the law requires, or a client relationship. An engagement exists only when both parties sign a written agreement, after our checks for lawful purpose, conflicts of interest and feasibility. We may decline an enquiry without giving reasons.

What you send us

Please send accurate information and only what you are entitled to share. Avoid sending highly sensitive personal information until a secure route has been agreed. How we handle what you send is explained in our Privacy Notice.

Reports and findings

A report issued under an engagement describes the agreed scope, dates, jurisdictions and methods, separates documented facts from indications and inference, and states its limits. It reflects information available at the time and is not updated unless a follow-up is agreed. Decisions taken on the basis of our work, and legal conclusions, remain the responsibility of the client and its advisers; whether a finding can be used in a proceeding is a question for counsel.

Insights and published analysis

Articles in Insights are commentary for general information. They reflect the author’s view on the date of publication and may become outdated. They are not advice for your situation.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the site to send unlawful, misleading or harmful material.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site, its staff panel or its data.
  • Do not use automated means to copy the site at scale.

Intellectual property

The content, design, name and logo of ISSLA RISK are protected. You may view the site, link to its pages and quote short extracts with attribution. Any other reproduction needs our written permission.

Links and third parties

The site may link to other websites and services, such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn or X, and uses providers for hosting, form delivery and analytics. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Availability

We try to keep the site available and accurate but do not promise uninterrupted access, and we may change or withdraw content at any time.

No warranty and limit of liability

The website is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ISSLA RISK is not liable for losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website or from reliance on its content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory rights you have under the law of the place where you live.

General

If a part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. These terms, together with the Privacy Notice, are the whole agreement for use of the website; engagements are governed by their own written agreements.
